About Family Resource Center
The Family Resource Center (FRC) was developed as a part of the Kentucky Education Reform Act (KERA) to remove barriers to students’ learning. At Rutherford, we recognize there may be many different obstacles to a student’s success. The center works with students and families of our community to provide the necessary resources to remove these challenges.

Many organizations and groups within and outside our school partner with our center to make resources available to those in need. The center works with families to offer academic assistance, improve attendance, to develop behavior strategies, to address health issues and offer support to parents as needed.

A Family Resource Center is just as it says, a center to serve our families’ and community’s greatest resource, your child(ren). Our center strives to provide a warm and inviting atmosphere for families and students. We welcome you to become actively involved by volunteering and joining in activities sponsored by the FRC and our school!
